From the archives

I didn't get a chance to post these photos when I took them last November.

 
A nice flock of Green-winged Teal (Anas crecca) overhead.


The next view also includes one Northern Pintail (Anas acuta).  Can you find it?  [Remember the game, One of these things is not like the others?]

 

(The pintail is the larger duck at the top left.)


Both of these species winter in the Bodega Bay area.  A good place to look for them is in the tidal pond at the entrance to Doran Beach.
